Documentation and contract changes, newest first. The API has no version prefix in its URLs, so check this page for changes that affect integrations.

3 November 2026​

Documentation

  • GET /order: the success, failed, waiting and processing counters count all orders that match the filters, across every page. They do not change with page or size, and they change when filters such as from and to change.
  • GET /batch: batch status has exactly two values, Pending and Completed. They are now an enum in openapi.json and openapi.yaml.
  • GET /order/browser: the IP allow-list applies to browser-link orders like every other REST endpoint. A browser-link order from an IP address that is not on the allow-list is blocked.

Documentation

  • Added response examples to all seven endpoints in the OpenAPI description, and linked the single-order, get-order and bulk-order endpoints from the orders guide.
  • Separated order statuses (Waiting, Processing, Success, Failed) from batch states (Pending and Completed observed). Pending is not an order status.
  • GET /order: documented that there is no total, that the service title is batch.service, how to detect more pages, and that the scope of the status counters is not confirmed. Removed batch.status from list items.
  • Added an Identifiers section: IMEI, SN and MEID, strings only, batch names, and the difference between TAC_FAILED, INVALID_IMEI_PROVIDED and INVALID_IMEI. Per-service length, checksum and charge rules are not yet confirmed and are marked as such.
  • Browser orders: described key exposure, repeated-request and sharing risks, and noted that IP allow-list behaviour for this endpoint is not confirmed.
  • The browser-order Try it panel keeps a pasted key out of every code sample.
  • Added a note and a Request access button for WebSocket (WSS) and webhooks.

Documentation

  • Renamed the product to IMEILookup throughout and shortened the endpoint names in the sidebar.
  • Added the Error codes page after the endpoint pages, with merged authentication details.
  • The OpenAPI description is now downloadable as openapi.json and openapi.yaml.
  • Order endpoints now warn that Send API Request places a real order and uses credits.
  • Added meta descriptions, a social preview image, the IMEILookup favicon, robots.txt, llms.txt and security.txt.
  • Page URLs now end in a trailing slash.

Documentation

  • GET /order: from and to are optional and can be used on their own; FROM_DATE_REQUIRED and TO_DATE_REQUIRED are no longer listed. An unknown serviceId returns 404 SERVICE_NOT_FOUND. search takes a full IMEI or serial number.
  • GET /service: filter matches the start of the service title, not case-sensitive.
  • POST /order: duplicates in the same request are removed; rejected and duplicate numbers are not charged. Failed orders are not charged.

  • This site is now maintained from its own source, not generated from the live schema.
  • The retired TAC Orders endpoint (POST /tac/order) was removed. Service 9, Any Make & Model Check [TAC DB], remains an ordinary service and is ordered with POST /order/single or POST /order.
  • Added the DHRU integration guide.
  • Added the orders and polling guide.
  • POST /order/single: documented the completed and processing responses. The server waits up to 55 seconds; use a client timeout above that, for example 70 seconds.
  • Corrected the order list, batch service, error message, browser order status (200), nullable result, status enums and pagination limits.
